Before the classes, I was not able to grasp simple mathematical concepts. After taking classes from TMJ, my understanding of math reached heights, that of which I never thought I’d ever be able to reach. Not only have I understood all my basics and created a strong foundation, but my interest and curiosity in the subjects had made me want to learn more.
The TMJ teaching style is frankly brilliant. Ashim doesn’t just show me his point of view but he goes a step further, unlike most teachers, and listens to my point of view. He listens and then explains where I’m going wrong rather than force me to follow the beaten path. The best part I would have to say is that rather than explain the entire concept to me, he allows me to figure out the topic on my own by giving me questions that lead me to the answer of my question. The mix of this technique and his explanations makes learning far more fun and interesting. With TMJ classes, I moved from ‘failing the subject’ to ‘A grade in my IGCSE’.

Before the TMJ classes, my understanding of mathematical concepts was not good at all. Things changed significantly after I joined TMJ. My performance in math overall has improved tremendously and it is evident in my grades. My grades before ranged from an F to a D, now my grades are within B and a high B, aiming for an A. I have tried multiple math programs and tutors, I have found TMJ teaching style to be very different and highly effective. It enabled independent thinking and made me attempt hard questions with calm and ease. Also, relating mathematical concepts with real life situations is what TMJ does.

Ashim’s TMJ Math classes significantly bolstered my understanding in math as I was able to grasp the rationale behind certain mathematical concepts for the first time. I started Ashim’s classes after I got a level 5 because those were not the grades I expected of myself. I would say the effects were quite noticeable right from the start as I was able to remain ahead of my class and I started to participate in class more often because I understood the concepts. Hence, in the long term, these classes helped significantly improve my understanding of math thus allowing me to achieve a 7 in IBDP.
I found the TMJ teaching style very effective as the tutor’s friendliness gave me the opportunity to approach him with queries whenever I had any. The offline study support had been great. All the tutors were brilliant and had the same approach to teaching. This is why I was quick to recommend TMJ to my friends who were also struggling in math and statistics as I knew that could help improve their grades.

TMJ classes was the only reason I started doing better in math in school and then in college and now in university. Without the classes and help, I would never have been able to pursue a major in finance. The math classes boosted my math skills and understanding. Before the classes I could never understand math and was always afraid of it; now I love math and have gained confidence in it. Before the classes I couldn’t even understand the most simplistic problems, after the classes I can say I can fully approach a complicated math problem and solve it with great confidence. Ashim’s and Ruben's courses were the only reason I was later on able to attend calculus and pass it with flying colors. They taught me the basic concepts of mathematics very well. TMJ approach is very friendly. The tutor takes his time to listen and never rushes any student; he gives multiple examples and will never skip a problem unless he is certain that you have fully understood it.

TMJ heavily influenced my understanding of mathematics and helped develop strong Mathematical skills. My sessions with Ashim greatly helped me to understand maths better, and subsequently my grades improved. The work done with Ashim took form extremely quickly. IB Maths is a difficult course, however, within a week Ashim had instilled a greater understanding of what I was doing in the course. Ashim was able to explain a concept in a plethora of different ways, thus giving me an abundance of different ways to understand.

TMJ classes with Mr. Ruben enhanced my understanding of math completely. I was able to comprehend a wide range of topics that I could not understand in school. The classes had instilled the much needed confidence in me and I went from scoring 3's in tests to 5's and then to 6's. I was even awarded the most improved student in math in school. I have tried other math programs and my grades stayed the same. However, when I tried TMJ, my grades significantly increased in a short span of time. I found the teaching style very efficient. Consolidating concepts by repetitions and real-life examples helped me a lot in my improvement.

I have had a different experience when being taught by TMJ teachers. They generated in me a love of statistics that I never believed I had. It has changed my perception of Statistics and about Mathematics in an entirely new way. As a result of these classes, I have decided to take upon a Mathematics (Statistics) degree. I acquired a deeper understanding of concepts after taking classes with TMJ. I felt much more confident in math and not as intimidated as before because I was no longer memorizing things but rather understanding concepts and applying. I took these math classes at the university level. I had no previous experience in higher level mathematics in high school. However, the teacher managed to take me from the level of algebra past multivariable calculus past calculus 3; and for that I am eternally grateful and am now a 3rd year engineering student. I was getting C’s and after the sessions, I received A’s. I have nothing but praises to describe the teaching methodology and TMJ math was fun and easy – words I could never use to describe my experience in math before.

The classes helped me understand calculus so well that it led to a significant increase in my marks instantly. It made me participate more in classes as my understanding grew better. Before I started the classes, I felt lost in Maths but as soon as I started my first class, things changed for the better. I understood everything that was taught which made my SAT way easier than I expected and got above the score that I wanted for my university, thanks to TMJ. All the teachers were very friendly and classes were so enjoyable that long even long duration classes of 2-3 hours never felt boring at all. I have tried many centers, but TMJ was the best.
